About Us
History
The Texas Gulf Coast Oldsmobile Club began in 1991 as a Chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America. We have members from Beaumont to Bellville and Conroe to Galveston. Members cars range from the 1940’s up until the last year of Oldsmobile production, 2004. We meet have regular meetings at various locations in the area and meet ten times per year. We have put on our own car show every year since 1993, The Peoples’ Choice Car Show. We attract all makes and models with a separate class for members Oldsmobile. We also have a six car display at the Houston Autorama. We have several “club cruises” every year, either to some event or just for a picnic. The purpose of the club is to promote Oldsmobiles and to have fun. Oldsmobile ownership is not required to become a member. Come check us out.
Mission Statement
If you are looking for a friendly group of people that are interested in Oldsmobiles, you've found it! We are a chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America. While we are generally located around the greater Houston area, we welcome people from all over.
We have a number of our own shows a year and get together for other shows, cruises, and events as well. We have a monthly newsletter, The Rocket Docket, and have a meeting most months.
